
Authorities in Clayton County are intensifying their search for a missing 63-year-old woman suffering from dementia and schizophrenia, who vanished from her home in Ellenwood. Debra Turner was last seen on March 2 on Northwind Drive, wearing pink jacket and black leggings adorned with white stripes, as reported by FOX5 Atlanta.
The Clayton County Police Department issued a Mattie's Call Alert, a state-wide alert system for missing persons who are elderly or have conditions that make them vulnerable. Turner is described as being 5 feet tall, weighing 145 pounds, with distinctive orange, low-cut hair and brown eyes. According to the alert, Turner may be traveling on foot. She was reported missing two days after her last confirmed sighting, and as of now, her whereabouts remain unknown.
In an effort to aid the search, police are reaching out to the public for any information that might lead to Turner's location. As WSBTV notes the concern for Turner's safety, given her medical condition, and the community's help is deemed crucial.
