The search is on for Riley Strain, a 22-year-old Missouri man who vanished after being ejected from a downtown Nashville bar this past weekend, as reported by authorities. Last seen around 10 p.m. on March 8 at Luke Bryan's Bar on Broadway, Strain's disappearance has prompted an investigation by the Metro Nashville Police Department. The case escalated after officers were called to the Tempo Hotel upon receiving a missing person report, as detailed by WSMV.
Strain, a University of Missouri at Columbia student and member of the Delta Chi fraternity, was visiting the city for a fraternity event. Attempts by friends to locate him using his Snapchat's location feature proved futile, with all calls to his mobile phone going to voicemail. Reaching out for any trace of their son, Strain's parents drove from Springfield, Missouri, only to join the fray of concern, as per a statement obtained by KY3.
Standing at 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds, Strain's physical attributes, blue eyes, blonde hair, and his attire—a black/brown button-up shirt with a black chest pocket, blue jeans, brown boots and a black Apple watch. Efforts to find any lead have included thorough checks of local hospitals, jails, and a phone ping by the officers, but all measures have returned void of success, leaving an anxious silence where answers are desperately sought.
Nashville detectives are now combing through surveillance footage in the hope of spotting Strain's exit from the establishment, an effort underscored by the spokesperson for the Nashville Police Department, Noelle Yazdani, who confirmed the initiative in a statement obtained by St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Those with any information on the whereabouts of Riley Strain are urged to come forward.
