Officers arriving at the scene were met with bullets from the suspect, the shooting unfolding outside multiple hotels, an incident which, as reported by AZFamily, occurred at the DoubleTree by Hilton, police returned fire hitting the suspect who was later taken to a hospital and remains in critical condition; remarkably, no officers sustained injuries during the fray. Meanwhile, the initial victim of the domestic violence situation was also transported to a medical facility to receive care for injuries suffered, though the nature and extent of these ailments have not been disclosed.
