In a move to amp up the nostalgia, Night Ranger is pegged to give Saturday night's crowd a reason to keep rockin' in America, while John Michael Montgomery promises a Friday night of timeless country anthems, according to the City of Sterling Heights.

According to an announcement from the city's March 19 council meeting, the throwback to '80s arena rock culminates with Night Ranger's appearance on Saturday, July 27. With a dizzying track record of more than 17 million albums sold, and radio hits that keep the dial tuned in to memories of high school proms, heartbreaks, and halcyon days, Night Ranger plans to deliver timeless tracks like "Sister Christian" and "Don’t Tell Me You Love Me." Whereas, on Friday, John Michael Montgomery will saddle up with "I Swear" among other numbers that have dominated the country charts – laying claim to 15 #1 hits.

For those inclined to take a trip down memory lane earlier in the week, Thursday, July 25, features cover bands Taylor’s Story and Simply Spice, a nod to pop music's reigning queens Taylor Swift and the Spice Girls respectively. And when natural light fades, the festival's innovation streak shines bright with the addition of a drone show sponsored by Christian Financial Credit Union.
