A deadly shooting at a Chandler sports complex has left one teenager dead and two others injured. The violence erupted just before 9 p.m. Sunday at the Snedigar Sports Complex, according to Chandler Police. Found wounded by gunfire, the victims, all teens between the ages of 16 and 17, faced an abrupt end to their evening of recreation, with one tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
While officers scoured the area for suspects, their search turned up empty, as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix. The Chandler Police Department indicated that the shoot-out seemed to stem from a dispute between two groups that were acquainted with each other, according to an X post.

Attempting to assuage public alarm, authorities have declared the incident "an isolated one," confidently asserting that there is no lingering threat to the community. However, the specter of violence casts a long shadow, reminding locals of the potential dangers lurking even in familiar neighborhood spaces.
