After sprinting flames engulfed the car, Lifeflight was dispatched, carrying two males believed to be in their late teens to early 20s to safety and medical treatment. The first responders worked diligently to control the fire and provide aid, with the precursory investigation suggesting that several young people were in the car at the time of the crash. The calamity not only shattered metal but also the lives of those involved, with the deceased young woman and another victim being approximately of age 15-20 years old, the latter confirmed deceased at a nearby hospital.
The sheriff's office has not yet released the identities of the deceased nor the condition of the young men airlifted with injuries. The area, near the outskirts of Jersey Village, was disrupted by the accident as investigators converged on the site to determine the cause and circumstances leading up to the fatal event.
