Later the very same day, tragedy struck again, this time in Southeast D.C., where another gunshot echoed through the Ridge Place neighborhood. Nearby residents were startled by a sequence of events that has become all too familiar to those within the nation's capital. According to a report by WUSA9, the shooting occurred at around 9:27 p.m., and police arriving on scene located a victim, identified as 45-year-old Adam Dove of Southeast, D.C., who was pronounced dead at the scene having been found suffering from gunshot wounds.
