Ann Arbor police are on the hunt for a suspect who turned a minor bump into a potential deadly encounter inside a Target store near the University of Michigan on Monday night. The man reportedly held a knife to another person's throat after the two collided while entering the shop located at 231 S. State St., as FOX 2 Detroit stated. The confrontation happened around 8:40 p.m. and quickly escalated when the suspect produced a pocket knife during the argument.
What seemed to be a simple accident, the victim, ended up with the blade against his neck after pushing the aggressor away, leading to the suspect exposing the knife's blade further. The aggressor is described as a 20-year-old Black man, around 6 feet tall with a thin build and short curly hair, wearing a navy or black jacket.
