
Dorchester neighborhood's ongoing drug battle saw a significant blow with the arrest of 34-year-old Craig Lee, implicated in a litany of firearm and drug charges, Boston police said.
The bust unfolded Friday when officers, executing a search warrant around 12:15 PM at 1916 Dorchester Avenue, unearthed a veritable arsenal of narcotics and a loaded firearm. According to Boston Police, the seizure included a H&K revolver with ammo, a kilogram each of cocaine and fentanyl, dozens of plastic bags containing crack cocaine and additional fentanyl, about 110 grams of Percocet, along with 980 fentanyl pills, a stash of marijuana, just north of $29k cash, and various drug-dealing paraphernalia.
Lee, from Dorchester, now faces the music, charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, trafficking of class A drugs, trafficking of class B drugs, and possession with intent to distribute class D drugs. His arraignment is slated for Dorchester District Court.
The coordinated crackdown involved the Drug Control Units from District C-11 (Dorchester) District E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury) and members of the FBI Metro Boston Gang Task Force. This operation underscores the relentless effort to put a dent in the local drug trade that continues to grasp the streets of Boston in its clutches.
