Carrollton's city officials are calling on residents to voice their ideas and help shape the future of their hometown through the Destination 2040 Vision Campaign. Two public input sessions have already been scheduled to gather valuable feedback from the community. An interactive open-house style format is anticipated to drive discussions around what makes Carrollton tick and what the future should hold in store.
Pinned for April 13 from 10 a.m. to noon, the Hebron & Josey Library will throw open its doors to anyone with a vision for Carrollton, inviting locals to drop in, stay awhile, and have their say. This follows on the heels of a prior meeting held on April 3. Designed to be come-and-go as needed, the city promises the same level of engagement and information exchange as its predecessor.
Carrollton Mayor Steve Babick outlined the city leadership's aspirations, as per the City of Carrollton, Texas, "The City Council envisions Carrollton as the community that families and businesses want to call home." With this sentiment at the forefront, Carrollton is demonstrating a clear commitment to incorporating resident input directly into its planning process.
For those unable to attend in person, the city has cast a wider net offering an online survey in English, Spanish, and Korean. This digital platform ensures all voices, regardless of schedule or language, can contribute to Carrollton's paced march toward 2040. Excitement has been buzzing, with the city actively promoting the survey on its web portal and engaging with locals via email at [email protected] for those eager to learn more or who are looking to dive deeper into the details of the initiative.
