
Chicago man, Larry Walker, 37, has been slapped with serious charges including attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery after allegedly shooting and critically injuring a 44-year-old man last month. The incident took place in Chicago's 4000 block of W. Potomac, within the bounds of the city's 25th District, sending shockwaves through the community.
Walker was nabbed by law enforcement on April 11, 2024, after being fingered as the shooter in the March 11 attack, authorities said. He was arrested after a diligent investigation in the 3900 block of W. Division, a stone's throw from the crime scene. According to a Chicago Police Department press release, Walker's apprehension was not immediately followed by the disclosure of additional details.
