Chicago authorities have announced the arrest of Dontrell Anderson, 26, charged with the murder of a 24-year-old woman, according to the Chicago Police Department.
Anderson, from the 2200 block of E. 97th St. in Chicago, faces a felony count of first-degree murder and another for concealing a homicidal death.
The crime, which took place on February 18, 2024, resulted in Anderson's capture by Chicago Police and the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, on April 5, 2024. He was extradited to Chicago and is expected to have a detention hearing on April 6, 2024.
