Chicago has seen its fair share of crime, and in this latest incident, Jeffery Anderson of the 5000 block of S. Washington Park Ct. has been charged with aggravated robbery. Anderson, 29, is facing one count of a felony for an incident that involved a firearm, according to Chicago Police.

Arrested near the 5000 block of S. Vincennes, Anderson was fingered as the suspect in a March heist where a 33-year-old man was threatened before a business was robbed. Displaying a weapon, the assailant left the store in the 1200 block of S. Kostner with ill-gotten gains, leaving the victim to contact the authorities. To detain Anderson, it wasn't until nearly a month later, that police managed to track him down and bring him to justice.

The details, as mentioned in an official statement by the Chicago Police Department, highlight that the alleged aggravated robbery took place within the 10th District. The police statement was brief and did not elaborate on the specifics of the robbery or subsequent arrest.
