Gusts could reach up to 25 mph, adding a sharp edge to the already brisk air.

The upcoming weekdays are set to bring a gradual warming. Monday will start with a chill as lows dip to the 40s but will pick up with highs slated to return to around 71 degrees under mostly sunny skies. The trend continues as Tuesday's temperatures are expected to soar nearly a full 8 degrees higher, reaching highs near 79 degrees with persistent sunny conditions.
Residents will experience a significant warm-up, with Wednesday and Thursday promising highs at 83 and 84 degrees respectively—heralding the return of the 80s as we approach the weekend. "We'll return to the 80s by Wednesday," as per KXAN's report. Despite the lurking possibility of showers and thunderstorms on Friday, with a mere 20 percent chance indicated, these are expected to do little to impede the ascent of the mercury.
As the weekend approaches, Austinites can look forward to partly sunny skies on Saturday, with temperatures flirting with the high 80s.
