Not content to rest on its laurels, Clarksville has been dubbed one of Money's Best "New Boomtowns" for 2024, which is no small feat. According to a statement from Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts, "We are honored to appear on Money magazine's list of 50 Best Cities to Live in the U.S., as one of the Best New Boomtowns, and we are also extremely proud to have become a mainstay of that list, having ranked at the top of it in 2019." 

Clarksville's repeat appearance on the list suggests it's more than just a flash in the pan. Money's recognition indicates the city's ongoing commitment to providing good-paying jobs and maintaining a quality of life that's attractive to current and prospective residents alike. Mayor Pitts is optimistic about the future, and why wouldn't he be? "We are going to continue working to provide good-paying jobs, affordability, and the kind of quality of life that continues to appeal to Money, and so many people across the country," he said.
