After more than two decades of serving up Tex-Mex favorites in Houston, the restaurant is expanding its reach to the DFW metroplex, bringing its acclaimed skirt steak fajitas, homemade tortillas, and secret recipe margaritas to a new crowd.

Located just a stone’s throw away from the Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center, El Tiempo Cantina joins a growing list of amenities at Choctaw Stadium. The stadium has become a hub of activity housing businesses like Spark Coworking and Arlington Economic Development Corporation, the upscale eatery Hearsay, and a convenient Starbucks. In addition to the gastronomic delights, the venue also plays host to an array of sporting events, including professional rugby and football games, as well as high school football matchups.

Rob Matwick, the Rangers’ executive vice president of business operations, underscored the stadium's transformation in a commitment to maintain the facility's utility. "When we were campaigning for the new ballpark, part of our commitment is we’d keep Choctaw Stadium intact and find ways to engage the space,” Matwick said, as per the City of Arlington, Texas.
