According to the City of Frisco, the plaza's parking spots will be off-limits starting early Friday, with the surrounding roads shut down by the evening and not reopening until late Saturday.

For those with a nose for the specifics, the closure kicks off at 7 a.m. on Friday, when the parking real estate on Simpson Plaza's north side gets cordoned off for event prep. Come 6 p.m., it's no-man's land for the roads wrapping around Simpson Plaza, a state of affairs continuing through Saturday. Rolling with the changes, Coleman Blvd gets its slice of shutdown from 6 a.m. Saturday till the curtain falls on the road closures at 10 p.m. the same day.

Mid-closure, Frisco Square regulars, and event-goers will be cut off from the front steps of City Hall and have to wiggle their way around to parking spots behind the main stage via alternative routes. Coleman Blvd businesses and residents living north of the plaza will need to hitch their wagons via World Cup Way, Frisco St., or Main St. driveways, as laid out in the city's announcement.

For Pizzeria Testa loyalists, there's a breadcrumb trail to follow; hit World Cup Way or head north on Dallas Pkwy, then hang a right onto Frisco Square Blvd. to nab a spot in front of the restaurant. Alternatively, parking your ride in the municipal garage is a solid choice.
