A Texas high school teacher and her son have been nabbed on suspicion of running a child sex trafficking ring right out of a suburban school, shocking parents and students. Kedria Grigsby, 42, who taught cosmetology at Klein Cain High School, and her 22-year-old son, Roger Magee, are facing serious charges including three counts each of trafficking a child and compelling prostitution, as reported by FOX 26 Houston.

The sordid details came to light after three students, between the ages of 15 and 17, came forward to disclose that Grigsby had allegedly recruited them for prostitution after offering them a hotel room to stay. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a statement obtained by Fox News, the victims were all runaways, which only underscores the depravity of the scheme.

During the court proceedings, prosecutors presented evidence, which included damning text message exchanges between Magee and the young victims discussing prostitution services and payments via Zelle — the transactions, it seems, were just as soulless and transactional as the acts they were bargaining over.

Moreover, Grigsby is accused of not only facilitating this disturbing operation by providing lodging but also transporting the teens. "The investigating officer evidently determined there's at least one occasion where Ms. Grigsby had paid for a motel room that was used in the prostitution enterprise," a probable cause court judge stated, as noted by KHOU.

The Klein Independent School District has taken immediate action, placing Grigsby on administrative leave and asserting, "Klein ISD has NO intention of allowing this individual back to Klein Cain or any Klein ISD school," according to a statement shared by the district and published by FOX 26 Houston. They have urged parents to speak with their children and report any information that could be pertinent to the case.

Grigsby's bond has been set at a steep $750,000, with conditions that bar her from contacting the victims or having unsupervised contact with minors. Magee was previously arrested in November 2022 and remains behind bars. With the investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Trafficking Unit still ongoing, authorities indicate there may be more victims and charges to come.
