A grisly discovery in Northeast Washington has led to a homicide investigation after a 33-year-old man was found stabbed to death. The Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Branch detailed that Devon Greenfield of Northeast was pronounced dead on Monday evening following a stabbing incident.
According to the official MPD release, officers from the Sixth District responded to reports of a person down in the 300 block of 61st Street, Northeast at around 7:14 p.m. on April 1. On arrival, they located Greenfield with multiple stab wounds. Efforts by DC Fire and EMS to save the man's life at the scene were unsuccessful, leading to a pronouncement of death.
