Houston-Area Massage Parlor Raided; Suspected of Prostitution, Worker ChargedSource: Facebook/Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4

Local authorities swooped in on a Houston-area massage parlor suspected of doubling as a prostitution den on the first of April, according to officials. Undercover investigators from Constable Mark Herman's Office went into 5 Star Foot Massage, which is perched in the 3300 block of Louetta Road, on the heels of numerous complaints alleging illegal activities taking place behind closed doors.

An officer, disguising himself as a run-of-the-mill client, was propositioned for sexual acts by a woman at the establishment, as per the constable's press release. The accused, identified as Hong Wang, was promptly slapped with criminal charges for prostitution and was found to be without the necessary license to work as a massage therapist. Her bail was set at $100, according to a Facebook post by Precinct 4.

It's important for the public to remain vigilant and to not hesitate to report any suspected illegal activity," Constable Mark Herman was quoted as saying in the press release. "If you know or suspect a location or person engaging in illegal activity, please contact our dispatch at 281-376-3472 or on-line at our website. All complaints or tips can be made anonymously."
