Houston Mother and Daughter Arrested for Allegedly Administering Illegal Butt InjectionsSource: Houston Police Department

A mother and daughter pair was nabbed in Cypress during an undercover operation, after they allegedly offered illegal butt injections, as per Houston police and federal agents. Consuelo Dal Bo, 56, and her daughter Isabella, 18, believed they were about to perform a $6,000 procedure at a short-term rental when they were instead greeted by law enforcement, as ABC13 reported.

This sting links to a broader investigation that led to the arrest of Dustin David Moore earlier this month, who faced aggravated assault charges and multiple counts of unlicensed medical practice, a prosecutor confirmed. Court documents indicate Moore allegedly used silicone to enlarge patients' buttocks, which resulted in at least one person developing a staph infection, according to FOX26 Houston.

The Dal Bos, arrested previously, faced allegations of unlawfully practicing medicine without a license. Consuelo Dal Bo is also confronting a drug charge for allegedly delivering a controlled substance known as Alprazolam. During their arrest, police discovered bags of illegal injectables and medical supplies.

Incidents involving illegal cosmetic procedures have raised concerns within the community, with some cases leading to serious health crises or, even death. In a similar, albeit fatal, case last year — a woman pleaded guilty to manslaughter following the death of her client who received silicone butt injections. Houston police urged anyone with information about the mother and daughter, or their business to contact the authorities at 713-308-3100,  as per ABC13.
