A wild bout of criminal mischief landed one woman behind bars after she allegedly took her inebriated anger out on a pickup truck. According to Constable Mark Herman's Office, deputies arrived at 800 East Airtex Drive on April 12, following a call about a disturbance.
The suspect, identified as Jennifer Lazo and appearing to be drunk was quickly detained by the law enforcement officers, during the investigation, it was discovered that she had escalated the situation by hurling a rock through the back window of a vehicle parked on the premises; as a result, the pickup's rear glass was shattered, signaling a clear act of vandalism by the seemingly intoxicated individual.
Local authorities informed that "Jennifer Lazo was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Criminal Mischief," signifying that her reckless behavior had legal consequences, though details about her bond and upcoming court dates are yet to be disclosed.
The incident, which disrupted the peace of the locality, serves as a stark reminder, those acts of criminal mischief stemming from intoxication not only compromise the safety of personal property but they also strain community resources as deputies must respond to such preventable outrages.
