Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputies rushed to the scene, responding to a grave domestic violence situation. The woman, who suffered gunshot wounds, was swiftly transported to a local hospital and is currently in fair condition, officials said.
The alleged assailant, identified as Quandarrius D. Gardner, born June 4, 1998, fled the scene following the shooting. In a revelation of a continuing pattern of violence, authorities state that Gardner is wanted on three open warrants for previous aggravated assault incidents against the same victim. He will now face charges of Aggravated Assault-Family/deadly weapon stemming from the latest attack, according to the Sheriff's Office. "Good work by our team," Sheriff Ed Gonzalez stated.
