A hit-and-run in Lemon Grove has left one pedestrian dead, and police are on the hunt for the driver responsible. The victim, who has not been immediately identified, was struck and killed by a pick-up truck in the early hours of Wednesday, according to the Lemon Grove Sheriff's Substation.

Deputies responded to the scene at the intersection of College Avenue and Federal Boulevard shortly before 12:30 a.m., after the pedestrian was reported to have been hit.
