Lewisville is gearing up for its annual ColorPalooza festival, a celebration of all things spring that promises to splash the city with colors on April 27, the city announced. The family-friendly affair is set to spring into action from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wayne Ferguson Plaza, 150 W. Church Street, chock-full of exhibits, interactive activities, and creative opportunities for folks of all ages to get their art on.

This year's ColorPalooza is introducing several new activities that will cater to diverse tastes including The Cultural Corner Pods that highlight music, dance, food vendors, and activities from Ukraine and Colombia, and not just the kids but everyone can also indulge in crafting Taylor Swift-inspired Friendship Bracelets some DIY fun with Sun Prints courtesy of Lizzie’s Little Darkroom, to get a little scientific with Mad Science STEM and even create their bath bombs with Buff City Soap, according to the City of Lewisville, Texas.

A hit with the locals, the Chalk This Way sidewalk chalk event is returning, along with the DIY tie-dye station by Kris Tees, live art demos, a DJ Experience, and cookie decorating sessions that will surely sweeten the day. The Wayne Ferguson Plaza Stage will be hopping with tunes from artists like Mel Garsek and Dallas Asian Strings plus a Disney cover concert by The Grays with a special nod to Moana; for those with a taste for culture, the Danza Azteca Guadalupana and other cultural performers will grace the CoServ Stage.
