A man was left dead after a stabbing incident near downtown Phoenix on Tuesday night, sparking a homicide investigation by local authorities. Police responded to a call at approximately 11 p.m. in the vicinity of 11th Avenue and Jackson Street, where they discovered a man with multiple stab wounds, as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix.
Despite rapid intervention by Phoenix Fire Department personnel who rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, the man succumbed to his injuries. The man was treated by Phoenix Fire personnel who took him to a local hospital for emergency care. The man later died as a result of his injuries," conveyed Phoenix Police Sgt. Brian Bower in a statement obtained by FOX 10 Phoenix. At this time, the identity of the victim remains unreleased as detectives are piecing together the events that led up to the fatal altercation.
