A fatal collision has claimed the life of a man riding a motorized scooter Wednesday night, after being struck by a car in Phoenix, authorities said. The hit-and-run incident happened around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of 36th Street and Camelback Road, as reported by ABC 15.
Upon arrival, Phoenix police discovered the man with serious injuries. He was to quickly be taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. As of now, the identity of the victim has not been disclosed. According to azfamily.com, detectives indicated the man was attempting to cross Camelback Road when the car, traveling westbound, collided with him.
