
A man in his 40s was found dead after a fatal stabbing incident on Detroit's east side, authorities have reported. The Detroit Police Department stated they received a call on Wednesday morning and arrived at the 15200 block of Mack Avenue, near the Detroit-Grosse Pointe Park border, where they found the man unresponsive with multiple wounds. The Detroit News detailed that the incident occurred at approximately 9:50 a.m.
Shortly after arriving, medics pronounced the man dead at the scene. Following the discovery, an investigation quickly led to a suspect, a 50-year-old man, being taken into custody.
