
A man was left with multiple stab wounds after a dispute turned violent early this morning in Atlanta. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers were called to the scene at 2176 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy, where they found the victim alert and conscious. The injured party was promptly transported to the hospital in stable condition following the incident.
The altercation reportedly took place at around 12:41 am. It is believed the victim knew the man who allegedly assaulted him. According to the initial findings, the victim was able to provide the police with identification of the attacker and his potential whereabouts, leading officers to apprehend the suspect in his own apartment.
Identified as Khalid Abdul Kareem, born in November 1986, the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Alongside the charge of aggravated assault about the stabbing, Kareem was found to also have an active warrant out of Fulton County. He was booked at the Fulton County Jail subsequently, as the investigation into the matter continues.
Authorities have indicated that while the information provided is preliminary, additional details may emerge as the investigation progresses. The victim, whose name has not been released, is now recovering, and the suspect is waiting to face the consequences of his actions.
