Gunfire erupted on an Atlanta street last night, leaving a man wounded, police said. The Atlanta Police Department reported that Zone 4 officers were dispatched to 644 Holderness St. SW after receiving a 911 call about a shooting at around 7:21 p.m.
The officers found a 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was alert and breathing when they arrived and was quickly transported to a local hospital. The name of the hospital to which the victim was taken was not immediately released. The victim's current condition has not been disclosed, but he was conscious when help arrived, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
