Summer Roberts, the child reported missing earlier on Wednesday, was located after she did not arrive for an early morning tutoring session and failed to make it to school. The police and educators at the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District, immediately launched a hunt for Summer after she was unexpectedly absent from school. Summer was last seen around 7 a.m., walking toward Elaine S. Schlather Intermediate School from the Willow Pointe subdivision, as described in a report by KENS 5. She was scheduled to attend her early morning tutoring before classes commenced, her absence set off alarms, leading school officials to quickly scour the campus.

Summer is described as standing 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing around 200 pounds, with dark, curly shoulder-length hair according to police. When last seen, she was dressed in a gray t-shirt, and black leggings, combined with blue and white Jordan brand tennis shoes. The description of her appearance was widely circulated in the hopes of aiding her safe return.
