Thieves are on the loose in the Northwest, and the MPD is on their trail. Detectives have just rolled out a video showing two suspects involved in a burglary in a quiet residential area. The burglary took place on April 13, in the middle of the afternoon, when most folks would be out and about, trusting that their homes would stay secure in their absence.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, at approximately 2:26 p.m., the duo brazenly entered an unoccupied residence on the 1400 block of Madison Street, Northwest. The video released by the MPD shows the suspects in action, though they managed to flee with an assortment of unidentified property—all without the slightest hint of getting caught at the moment. But the MPD isn't letting this slide, and neither should the community.
To tighten the net around these audacious burglars, anyone who might recognize the persons in the footage has been called to action.
