Mayor Pro Tem of New Braunfels, Harry Bowers, is all set to bid adieu to his constituents in a final Citizen Forum scheduled for the end of April. Bowers will meet with the community on Tuesday, April 30 at 6pm in what marks the swan song of his six-year tenure on the City Council, with all the action taking place at New Braunfels City Hall, according to the City of New Braunfels.

The session is looking to quickly kick off with some opening words from Bowers himself, to be closely followed by a briefing from Deputy City Manager Jordan Matney. The focus? A deep dive into capital improvement projects throughout the city, and particularly those shaking things up in District 3. The evening will wrap up in a classic Q&A fashion, providing residents their chance to quiz the Councilmember on matters close to their hearts.

"As I reach the end of my six years of service on New Braunfels City Council, this will be my final opportunity to host a Citizens Forum," Bowers said, as per the City of New Braunfels. "I’m looking forward to visiting with my fellow residents and neighbors one last time and providing updates on key projects and initiatives happening in our community."

Anyone looking to catch this last hurrah should head to the Tejas Room at New Braunfels City Hall, 550 Landa Street. For those who can't make to personally bear witness, additional updates and announcements on city events can to be found at the City of New Braunfels' official website.
