Chaos erupted on a northwest Atlanta parkway Sunday night when bullets flew in a deadly drive-by shooting, leaving one man critically wounded with a gunshot wound to the head and another injured, police say.
The violence broke out late on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, with Atlanta police responding around 8:30 p.m. to discover the critically injured man promptly rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital for life-saving treatment, reported FOX5 Atlanta.
A second shooting victim from the incident managed to escape with minor injuries and was treated right there at the scene, Atlanta News First noted.
Investigators are left sifting through the scant clues in an effort to piece together the events that led up to the gunfire no arrests have been made and with police still searching for motives and suspects, the identity of the man fighting for his life has not been released; authorities urge anyone with information to step forward.
