The fire reported around 3:30 a.m., was met with a swift response from the San Antonio Fire Department (SAFD), who managed to contain the flames to the garage, preventing them from spreading to the main house, according to FOX San Antonio.
Crews arrived on the scene to find the garage engulfed in flames but were able to quickly put out the fire. The main house did not escape completely unscathed, suffering some smoke damage. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by authorities. No injuries have been reported from the incident as the family managed to narrowly avoid disaster.
