A man faces charges for allegedly breaking into a teenage girl's bedroom and sexually assaulting her, as per San Antonio police reports. Sean Harper, 48, has been charged with Sexual Assault of a Child following the November incident. Police statements suggest that Harper gained entry to the girl's room by crawling through the window. After the attack, officers responding to the home caught sight of Harper driving away, successfully noting his license plate number, as reported by KENS 5.
According to court documents, on Nov. 2, 2023, police arrived on the scene near Vance Jackson Road and Wurzbach Road following a call about a sexual assault in progress. Police saw a man fleeing in a white pickup truck, who matched the suspect's description, and obtained the truck's license plate number. The teen victim identified Harper as her assailant through a photo line-up, as detailed in a report by News 4 San Antonio. Harper has been arrested and currently is held on a $15,000 bond.
"The victim later identified Harper as the one who assaulted her," the affidavit stated, tying him to the traumatic event. Adding to the gravity of the situation, Harper's past involvement with the law surfaced, revealing a 2005 conviction for Sexual Assault of a Child.
