The violent incident unraveled in the 9400 block of Fredericksburg Road near Wurzbach Road at the Vive Apartments, just as the evening sky darkened around 9 p.m. on March 3.

Before she was brutally attacked, the quick-thinking victim managed to use her phone to capture footage of the suspect, a decision that may prove pivotal in bringing her assailant to justice. According to FOX San Antonio, the images obtained by police showcase a gold Lexus SUV associated with the suspect.

San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers are jointly appealing to the public, seeking any traces of information that could lead to the suspect's arrest, and are offering a bounty of up to $5,000 for tips that result in a felony arrest.

Crime Stoppers provides multiple avenues for tipsters to come forward anonymously. Persons with details concerning this heinous crime can place a call to 210-224-7867 (STOP), or text "Tip 127 plus your tip" to CRIMES (274637). Additionally, tips can be left via the P3 Tips app or through the Crime Stoppers website. KSAT reports that the police have yet to apprehend the suspect, who stands charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
