An ordinary night at a San Antonio vape shop turned into a scene of defiance as an employee stood his ground against a pair of gun-toting would-be robbers, local police report.
The San Antonio Police Department arrived at Vape City on FM 78 at Foster Road near Rittiman Road just after the clocks struck 10:35 p.m., they found a story of an attempted heist gone awry - the employee didn't just hand over the goods, he chased the assailants out of the store, leading to a dangerous confrontation outside, and as the struggle ensued outside one of the suspects brandished a firearm and discharged it, according to KENS 5.
Thankfully, no one was hit, and nothing bore the bullet's brunt, as the suspects took their leave on foot into the shroud of night. In the wake of gunfire and thwarted crime, no injuries were reported, the police said.
