A San Antonio community is grappling with uncertainty as local authorities investigate the perplexing death of a woman, found by her friend with a chilling slash across her upper body. As reported by FOX San Antonio, the friend entered the home on Davalos Lane to find the front door surprisingly unlocked and made the harrowing discovery just before dusk fell on March 29th.
In the home of the stretch of Highway 90, where the unnamed woman took her last breath, the Bexar County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene having received a call from the deceased woman's friend. The caller, deeply concerned after not hearing from her friend for over a day, which she said was unusual, told deputies. Laying face down, the lifeless body presented a wound that the Bexar County Medical Examiner would identify as a laceration.
Authorities, withholding the victim's identity as they pave their way through the fog of this investigation, are turning to the public for assistance.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office has urged anyone with information connected to the incident, found on the Far West Side, to step forward.
