Authorities in Cloquet are intensifying their efforts in the search for 31-year-old Peter Martin, a member of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, who has been missing since March 8. The Crime Scene Team was dispatched to Martin's home on the Fond du Lac Reservation, particularly in the Mahnomen Road neighborhood, in a bid to uncover any evidence that might lead to his safe return, as reported by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA).
The BCA, in a coordinated operation with local law enforcement, scoured the area surrounding the home for signs of Peter's whereabouts. The teams are searching for "any clue that might help us bring Peter home to his family," in a statement obtained by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA). Despite these efforts, the community has yet to learn of any breakthrough in the case.
Martin's disappearance has rallied the local community, with the Fond du Lac Police Department urging public assistance in the search. They have asked anyone with information on Peter's last known movements, or his current location, to step forward.
The call to action was echoed by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, requesting that "anyone who has seen Peter or knows where he might be" should immediately contact the Fond du Lac Police Department at 218-878-8040.
