Residents of Seattle, brace yourselves for a weekend of fluctuating weather conditions. Showers are on tap for late this afternoon with a 60% likelihood. The forecast tells us to expect less than a tenth of an inch of rain, so while the umbrellas might come out, heavy gear won't be necessary. Temperatures will hover around a mild 55 degrees, with light winds shifting from south to southwest throughout the day, as noted by the National Weather Service.
The evening is set to bring more rain, primarily before 1 a.m., where it will be 80% certain that Seattleites will hear the patter of raindrops against their windows. The mercury will drop slightly to 45 degrees overnight, and though the winds may calm to a north northeast breeze after midnight, outdoor plans should probably be postponed.
Looking ahead to Friday, the overcast skies plan to clear gradually, giving way to sunshine with highs inching upwards of 56 degrees. The weekend forecast, promises an idyllic spring outlook with sunny skies and temperatures climbing up to the low 60s. Friday night's skies will remain mostly clear, and so will Saturday's with lows resting comfortably in the mid-40s, as per the NWS Seattle.
But all good things must come to an end, it seems, Sunday night forecasts a chance of rain after 11 p.m, bringing back the clouds and rain chances into early next week. Daytime highs for Monday could drop slightly to 53 degrees paired with a cotinued chance of rain, as reported by the National Weather Service. Clearer skies, however, are on the horizon for midweek, with sunny conditions and temperatures reaching 59 degrees by Wednesday.
