Gruesome find in Houston as cops probe remains discovered in an abandoned shed. The bones were stumbled upon around 4 p.m., Saturday at 9400 Portal Drive.
The skeletal remains, whose identity and gender are yet to be solved. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is working to shed light on the cause of death, according to the City of Houston News.
HPD patrol officers, responding to the scene, turned the case over to the HPD Homicide Division. Detectives A. Graff II and E. Torres II are on the hunt for clues.
The authorities are tight-lipped. The investigation marches on, awaiting the secrets that only science can reveal. In the meantime, the HPD is appealing to the public, urging anyone with information to step forward and contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600, or to share clues anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
