During the ordeal, backup was called as deputies engaged in the chase with Dunn, which was reported by Atlanta News First, and ended dramatically after Dunn lost control of the aforementioned SUV. Following the accident, Dunn attempted an escape but was swiftly captured by a CCSO K-9 unit.
