Grammy-winning artist T-Pain, along with his wife and team, found themselves in harm's way after a hit-and-run incident in Atlanta. T-Pain, whose real name is Faheem Rashad Najm, took to Instagram to express his frustration with the unidentified driver who rear-ended his vehicle before fleeing the scene. "Whoever just f------ ran into the back of my g---d---- truck and whoever just f------ hit me and my wife, my road manager, my driver — whoever just did that s-- and drove the f--- off … life’s about to get so much worse," he vented on the social media platform, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.

The "Buy U a Drank" singer recounted the details of the harrowing event and emphasized that they were roughly a mile from their home after leaving Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport when, the crash occurred. He described the culprit's vehicle as a "2003-2007 silver Chevy SUV that probably looks like they hit something super hard and missing the grill." Despite his packed schedule being upended by the accident, T-Pain humorously remarked about the silver lining in the incident, "Ppl that are saying my neck and back gonna hurt tomorrow are really underestimating how much my neck and back was already hurting from just being old," he joked on Instagram.

The Roswell Police Department were quick to respond to the scene after the crash, which happened at the Highway 92 and King Road intersection, as per a report by 11Alive. T-Pain's driver sustained back injuries and had difficulties breathing, necessitating medical attention from EMS. But the hit-and-run driver didn't get far, thanks to FLOCK cameras which helped locate the suspect vehicle soon after.

The Roswell Police investigation didn't end with the recovered vehicle. Inside the suspect’s car, police found full and empty bottles of Corona Extra, receipts that led them to a Woodstock residence, and evidence of intoxication. "The vehicle had heavy damage to the front and had airbag deployment. The odor of alcohol was coming from within the vehicle," detailed by 11Alive. The encounter with the suspect included, not just a confession to drinking, but a breathalyzer test indicating a .154 blood alcohol concentration, well over the legal limit. Officers arrested the suspect without incident, following medical clearance, and booked him at the Alpharetta Annex.
