Two 14-year-olds have been thrown in the slammer for a burglary in the Cypress Falls area, Harris County officials report. Constable Mark Herman's deputies arrived at a home in the 14000 block of Cypress Falls Drive on April 5, after getting the lowdown on a break-in. The young suspects allegedly helped themselves to someone else's belongings — a clear-cut case of entering private property without an invite, according to the Constable's Office.
Deputies didn't waste any time, quickly getting to the bottom of things. After their investigation, they nabbed the teen duo, finding enough evidence to cuff them for the heist. In their haste to flee the scene, the suspects hardly had a moment to cover their tracks, ratted out by the evidence that was left behind. The Constable, as evidenced by their swift action, doesn't turn a blind eye to such youthful indiscretions.
Mark Herman had some words on the matter, taking to social media to state, "Both juveniles were arrested and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center charged with Burglary of a Habitation," according to a Facebook post by the Precinct 4 Constable's Office. As the law stands, these young suspects will now have to face the music for burglarizing the habitation.
