Upon investigation, shell casings were discovered but the vehicle from where the shots were believed to have been fired, had sped off into the night. Relying on witness descriptions, the police later identified and stopped the suspect vehicle. In a dramatic turn, Seattle police identified and arrested a 22-year-old man suspected of being the shooter, and a 21-year-old passenger on unrelated charges, both now facing serious legal repercussions.
During their intervention, officers spotted a gun and shell casings in the car, resulting in the driver's arrest for investigation of drive-by shooting and DUI – drugs.
