Fort Worth is once again grappling with the specter of gun violence following two separate incidents that left one man hospitalized and another shooter on the loose. The first altercation, notably escalating to bloodshed, erupted at a gas station on Meadowbrook Boulevard. According to FOX 4 News, a physical fight quickly turned deadly when one individual, having momentarily left the scene, returned only to draw a firearm and shoot the other participant.

Responding officers found the victim with two gunshot wounds, with the time of the incident being shortly before 6 p.m. The injury-stricken individual was rushed to the hospital, though their condition remains undisclosed. Despite intensive efforts, police have yet to apprehend the suspect responsible for the shooting. In another episode of violence that same night, a 23-year-old man was shot at a different gas station located in the 6600 block of Meadowbrook Drive.

The details of the second shooting, according to Star-Telegram, indicate that multiple gunshot wounds were inflicted upon the victim. Police records show that the distress call was made around the same dimming hour of 6 p.m. The man was found at the scene, and promptly transported to a medical facility, and his current health status is not known.

Fort Worth police are now undertaking a rigorous investigation, although no suspect description nor identity has been released.
