The first incident took place near the heart of Atlanta, where, according to FOX 5 Atlanta, a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds at a shut-down RaceTrac gas station on Piedmont Avenue – this location witnessed a deadly shooting earlier this year.

The man, described as being in his 20s and not affiliated with Georgia State University, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital his current condition has yet to be disclosed by police, and his identity remains unreleased, officials believe that the shooting happened elsewhere before the man fled to the station's location for safety, which a white Mercedes at the site, its driver's side window pierced by bullets, seemed to suggest.

Elsewhere, in a separate turn of events, an accidental shooting occurred in Lee County on a peaceful Sunday evening, with a man at home on Alder Drive suffering a gunshot wound, this incident is confirmed to have been accidental, according to WALB News 10. The sheriff's department responded to a welfare check and found the victim, who was quickly taken to the hospital and is expected to undergo surgery while being listed in stable condition.
