Speed demons Rashee Rice, 23, and Theodore Knox, 21, have been identified by Dallas Police as the culprits behind a high-speed crash that resulted in serious injuries for multiple individuals. The incident, which carved chaos along the North Central Expressway on March 30, left a trail of wreckage in its wake. Rice turned himself in to Glenn Heights Police on April 11, according to Dallas Police Department.
On the fateful day, Knox, in his Corvette, and Rice, behind the wheel of a Lamborghini, were allegedly racing in the leftmost lane. Their need for speed sparked a domino effect, triggering a collision that tangled four other vehicles into their reckless web. While Rice has been processed at the Regional Jail in Desoto, Knox remains a phantom to law enforcement, his whereabouts unknown as of this writing.
According to law enforcement records, warrants for both men include one count of Aggravated Assault, one count of Collision Involving Serious Bodily Injury, and six counts of Collision Involving Injury. The Dallas Police Department, dedicated to untangling this web of speed and turmoil, continues its investigation under case numbers 50420-2024 & 50421-2024. It’s been noted by the DPD that passengers tangled in this vehicular disaster will not face charges.
With one suspect in custody, the Dallas community now watches the horizon for any sign of Theodore Knox. As Rice faces the judgments of the law, one question lingers in the air—when will the other half of this dangerous duo pause his flight and answer for the chaos ignited in the fast lane? Community safety hangs in the balance, as the city is reminded that the price of velocity can be measured in more than just speed—it is tallied in broken bones and shattered lives.
