A spree of violence erupted overnight in Atlanta, leaving at least four stabbed and the city grappling with multiple crime scenes. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, two sisters, aged 16 and 19, were stabbed multiple times following an altercation with another female on Middleton Road NW. The victims were rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital in serious condition.

The Atlanta Police Department reported three separate stabbing incidents within just hours of each other. The first incident involved a man on Tremont Drive, attacked with a box cutter just after midnight. Police have arrested 26-year-old Rashonda Peyton, charging her with aggravated assault in connection to the incident, as reported by WSB-TV.

Near Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, a dispute between two friends turned violent when one man was stabbed three times by the other. Khalid Abdul Kareem, 37, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He also had an active warrant out of Fulton County and is now being held in the Fulton County Jail.

Shortly before the stabbing of the two sisters on Middleton Road, officers were summoned to the grisly scene. Despite the proximity in timing, authorities have not linked the stabbing incidents. The suspect in the attack on the teenage girls fled before police could apprehend her, but officials have since identified her, according to WSB-TV. The city aches with the news of these stabbings, signaling a distressing start to the day for affected communities.
